Most kids inspire to be a firefighter or a businessman, an airplane pilot or a doctor. Me??? .. I wanted a giant farm. The kind where each and every inch was cover with some type of fur or scale. Every x-mas i asked for another animal. And every x-mas i got one too. lol There were the geese, goats, rabbits, a mutt, horses, birds, lizards and everything i ever asked for.... except a pot belly pig. Seven years of begging, making creative posters, and countless letters for my mom to "Deliver" to santa. I knew exactly how to make my parents feel bad enough to get me the latest and greatest specimen. Its all in the smile. lol ...But i never got a pig. Countless clubs and animal saving strategies consumed my life. I keep finding letters and books filled full of notes to myself- One reads:---- Today i saw a woodpecker on the side of the road. Why was the poor woodpecker abandoned on the side of the road. Because he was trying to build his home and made a hole in some humans home, so they shot and wounded him. I knew the promise i made to A.R.K. (My club aka Animal Rescue Kids) but was not able to stop and help the bird because my dad would not stop.----
Seriously... who does this? I would only have been seven or so... PIctures speak loud so heres a couple of the A.D.D. child i was. Pay close attention to the one with my horse. I thought i was being so creative with my disposable camera! Sometimes i wish i could go back to those simple carefree days.
